We provide detailed quotes or project proposals to meet your engineering needs within a day or two of receiving from you design and/or process details (drawings, CAD models, problem description or objectives, etc.) by phone, FAX, FTP, and/or email. This often entails conversations and data exchanges, especially required for the more complex cases. We frequently enter into confidentiality agreements with our clientele to protect their IP.
The quote or cost proposal includes:
- Detailed Statement of Work or your objective;
- Description of the analysis component types and analysis process, their necessity to meet objectives, a descriptive list of assumptions, etc.;
- Deliverables: usaully an internet downloadable report in summary or detail format;
- Cost Extimate: usually "level of effort", a Not-To-Exceed Cost, or a Fixed Price, which all depend on the nature and scope of Applycon's engineering role and the client's budget and a breakdown of where those costs are apportioned; and a
- Schedule, from start to finish, with provisoes for further activity that depends on initial or serial results.

Most importantly, we will tell you why it is important the problem be solved in the manner we suggest. Anyone can provide "pretty pictures." You must know going in that what you receive from us will have a positive, if not a decisive impact on the direction of your project.
