Real Time Dynamics:
Given a very large and oscillating Stainless Steel tray, calculate fatigue loads and other structural stresses.

Special features:
3D CAD model setup with Von Mises material model with isotropic hardening capability, among other things.

Output:
Time-based, cyclic, nodal strains, stresses, and displacements.

Comments:
This problem was unique in that it had to incorporate the non-linear material model, large deflections, load stiffening, gravity and inertial loading, and pressures. The first animation above (click on thumbnail graphics) shows the tray as driven by the off-set crank, which drives the tray at 100 rpm. Notice the pivot arms. The last animation shows the resulting Maximum Principal stresses, which are used to determine fatigue susceptibility.
